Piers Schmidt introduces Alberghi Vini e Cultura at ITHIC 2021

11 October 2021

At the third edition of the Italian Hospitality Investment Conference, held at the Palacongressi in Rimini, Italy, Piers Schmidt and Alexander Rae, Head of M&A for Beaumier, were interviewed on stage by Massimiliano Sarti of Travel Quotidiano, on the ‘Financing and Developing of Alternative Locations and Platforms’.

Luxury Branding’s Vanessa De Nardi and Piers Schmidt were joined by their partner and colleague from Kingham Leigh, Ian R Douglas, during the third edition of the ITHIC, which took place in Rimini between 11-12 October 2021.

More than 600 representatives from the hotel, real estate and finance industries were delighted finally to be able to meet again in person. Presentations, briefings and lots of networking took place between specialised investment funds, banks, developers in the real estate sector, consulting companies, law firms, hotel brands and operators.

Piers took part in a dynamic panel session during which he was invited to share with the audience the key characteristics of the Alberghi Vini e Cultura brand promise.

Piers took the opportunity to describe the regions and kinds of location that Alberghi Vini e Cultura is mainly interested to develop in Italy, as well explaining some of the challenges in pursuing an expansion plan in Italy when you are not part of one of the hospitality majors.
