Global Advisory Board visits
The Red Sea

14 August 2022

In mid August, members of the Global Advisory Board of The Red Sea Development Company were hosted in Riyadh and on site at the Red Sea destination for a progress update and Advisory Board meeting.

Between 13–15 August, the esteemed members of the Advisory Board of Red Sea Global were hosted by CEO John Pagano in Riyadh and at the Red Sea destination for a detailed on the ground progress report and quarterly Advisory Board meeting.

Piers Schmidt joined fellow Board members Aradhana Khowala, Sue Harmsworth, Frances-Anne Keeler, HE President Mohammed Waheed Hassan, Horst Schulze, Carlos Duarte and (virtually) Philippe Cousteau Jr. as they were hosted by John and his key figures from the senior management team.

From their base at The Turtle Bay Hotel, one of this pioneering destination’s first operational assets, the Board members witnessed for themselves how the project’s grand vision is quickly becoming reality. Progress continues at pace not only with the development and parallel paths of construction but impressive equally in terms of the depth of thinking and action on the environmental and social fronts too.

The extraordinary experience that lucky guests will start to enjoy at The Red Sea from early next year will be unrivalled and yet it will cost neither the earth nor the ocean to be part of it.
